Emily Richett- Owner, Publicist


Emily Richett is the founder and owner of Richett Media, a public relations firm based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an on-air host and spokesperson, Emily’s work has been featured on television and radio stations throughout the U.S., representing major brands, such as Wal-Mart and DaimlerChrysler.

Before starting Richett Media in 2012, Emily was a TV news reporter who championed small businesses and nonprofits, sharing more than 6,000 positive news stories about great people doing amazing things. In 2016, Emily started offering her infectious energy and hard-earned PR savvy to entrepreneurs and personal brands everywhere, with a web-based, personalized coaching and teaching service that lets small business owners become their own best publicist. She is a contributor for various online publications, including Entrepreneur.com and Inc.com. She writes about business and life over at emilyrichett.com.

Emily holds a degree in public relations and broadcast journalism from Western Michigan University and a certificate in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University.  She has volunteered with dozens of West Michigan-based nonprofits, helping to raise awareness and funds for organizations including The American Cancer Society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Family Promise, LaughFest/Gilda’s Club and serves on the boards of the West Michigan Public Relations Society of America and Broadway Grand Rapids.

Sarah Cavanaugh- Public Relations Project Manager

Sarah Cavanaugh arrives at Richett Media with over 15 years of public relations and marketing experience. Whether it’s executing a special event, social media marketing, copywriting or campaign planning, Sarah has been a success – providing exceptional customer service along the way.  As a website manager at WZZM13 TV for four years, Sarah mastered the details of creative audience engagement, leveraging all media avenues available, and producing on-air interviews and segments. Her unique professional experience, energy and enthusiasm is a welcome addition to the Richett Media team.

Katrina Danko, Public Relations Assistant


Katrina Danko joins Richett Media with a diverse background in marketing and public relations as RM’s full-time public relations assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing at Aquinas College with professional experience in Grand Rapids and Metro Detroit.

Originally from the vibrant Detroit area, Katrina’s love of West Michigan inspired her to make Grand Rapids her new home. When she’s not busy pitching clients to the media or creating content, you’ll find her supporting her favorite local businesses and artists, trying new recipes, practicing her Spanish and discovering new places to add to her travel wishlist.

Lina Lintemuth – PR Associate


Lina Lintemuth comes to Richett Media from Ferris State University College of Business, where she serves as the Vice President of Social Affairs for the Public Relations Student Society of America. Lina assists in planning and executing client events and content creation. She’s an avid reader (fiction is her favorite), is conversational in German and has a “Labski,” a Husky-Lab rescue named Atlas.
